Founded 2010
A non-profit organization of Lake Michigan salmon fishermen, run by its own captains.
Muskegon Charter Boat Association is a group of charter boat captains, first mates and recreational fishermen from the Muskegon, Whitehall and Grand Haven area. It promotes networking and compliance with state and federal requirements needed for a professional, safe and fun day on the water — the guides in it operate out of Muskegon Harbor and White Lake.
What membership carries
Members of the Muskegon Charter Boat Association have the ability to access current CPR/First Aid training as well as enrollment in a USCG compliant drug screening program.
That is the compliance half. The other half is the room: captains and first mates who fish the same water talking to each other through the winter and the season.
Officers
President, Capt. Terry Armstrong; Vice President, Capt. Garry Pierce; Secretary, FM Kendall Hibbard; Treasurer, Capt. Chas Hibbard; Trustee, Capt. Chris Morris; Trustee, Capt. Dirk Burkett
